Total people detected crossing the English Channel in small boats since 2018. Past years come from the Home Office irregular migration dataset. The 2026 figure is approximate (shown with a ~ prefix) because the year is still in progress. It's the running count from the small boat arrivals weekly data, up to Thu, 25 Jun 2026.

Total spent on the asylum system between 2010/11 and 2024/25, summing the Home Office's published annual asylum cost figure (ASY_04). This is a single combined figure covering both processing (casework and decision-making) and support (asylum accommodation and subsistence) — the Home Office does not publish the two split out separately. See the asylum support page for the yearly breakdown and the cost per decision.
2025/26 and 2026/27 are not yet shown — the Home Office publishes ASY_04 by completed financial year (April–March) with a 6–12 month lag, so the 2025/26 figure typically won't appear until late 2026 or early 2027.
